Proficy Machine Edition - Logic Developer PLC (2-day class) - $495 per person
April 7-8, 2010 in St. Paul, MN 8:00am - 3:30pm Lunch Provided
On the first day the students learn how to develop, load, store, document and monitor Logic Developer PLC programs for PACSystems Rx3i. The skills learned can be applied to Series 90 and VersaMax PLC’s. Students work through hands‐on labs using a personal computer, and an Rx3i. No previous experience with PLCs is required; however, previous PC experience using Microsoft Windows is strongly recommended.
The second day of this course teaches practical programming examples using some of the more advanced functions of the Logic Developer PLC software. The students will learn about the concepts of Object Based Programming and apply these tools in the development of objects. They will create a QuickPanel HMI target and created graphics linked to the PLC code. We use multiple programming languages including Relay Ladder, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram to create standard and User Defined Function Blocks.

This hands on training by Intelligent Actuator (IAI) is about the benefits of using electric cylinders over pnuematic cylinders. Electric cylinders are energy efficient, easy to implement, and are flexible in their capabalities.
Every attendee will have a ROBO ERC2 demo to use during the seminar. Bring your own PC (loaded with Windows XP, or Vista 32 bit only, or Windows 7 32 bit only) -or- we will provide a laptop for you.
