Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Accounting Processes Assistant for our St. Paul office.  The Accounting Processes Assistant understands the policies and practices of the accounting processes department and the impact they have on the customer and vendor invoicing.  They will have the ability to be flexible and change areas of responsibility as workflow dictates.

Processing AP merchandise invoices and billing customers

Working with vendors, sales, and purchasing to resolve invoice issues

R

Processing expense reports and invoices and getting proper approvals and G/L coding

R

Setting up vendors and assisting in the 1099 reporting process

R

Participating in the weekly check run preparation

R

Updating and maintaining Excel worksheets

R

Credit card and correction order processing

R

Cash applications

R

Filing

Qualifications

R

High school diploma or equivalent

R

Minimum of one year accounting experience or completion of post-secondary accounting program

R

Ability to problem solve, pay attention to detail and make decisions in order to efficiently resolve issues

R

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

R

Ability to prioritize, organize and complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner
