Power/mation began in 1961 and has grown to multiple locations within Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and the Dakotas.
Duties
Our Solutions Intern works within the Solutions department. Solutions is a division of Power/mation specializing in custom projects. Beyond kitting and configuring, our engineers and technicians work together to design and deliver turnkey results that are unique to a customer’s application. Solutions is a growing sector within Power/mation, most recently adding custom fencing and advanced panel production. The Solutions Intern responsibilities may include
Support the Solutions team to complete quoting, Bill of Materials, design, and completion of engineering projects.
Support the Assembly Technician team to complete internal builds.
Support the Solutions department to implement Production Planning Metrics.
Complete one engineering project as defined by the Director of Engineering or Engineering Manager.
Qualifications
Students pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree or degree related to factory automation. We will accept candidates from Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering programs as well.
Good communication skills.
Strong technical problem solving capabilities and the ability to handle multiple changing priorities.
GPA of 3.0 or better
